While most wedding facilities offer you the use of their facility for only four or five hours, the Sea Shell gives you the option to celebrate all weekend long.

Imagine this: Everyone arrives on Friday night for a casual party at the Tiki Bar. The following morning, before the wedding festivities begin, your guests can continue enjoying themselves on premises sunbathing, swimming, or beachcombing—or they can also choose to go strolling about the island, perhaps to go fishing or practice their golf swing.

Your guests return at the appointed hour for the exchanging of your wedding vows. We have several spots on site for your choosing; the most popular being on our private beach or on the main beach with the Atlantic Ocean as a romantic backdrop.  Both accentuate the beauty of our seashore setting and are picture perfect depending on your needs.

Your reception starts later in the day with a one-hour, poolside cocktail party. It’s the start of a fabulous five-hour long event. Guests are free to choose their refreshments from an open bar that includes frozen drinks, premium liquor brands, and a wide selection of beers.  A scrumptious selection of freshly prepared hot and cold hors d’oeuvres are served “butler style” during the cocktail hour, along with mounds of jumbo shrimp and a fresh-shucked oyster and clam bar.

Next, the reception moves indoors for an elegant dinner. Everything is perfectly planned…the food…the music…the cake…it’s a dream come true!

When your five-hour reception concludes, the fun and the laughter need not end. You and your guests are welcome to stay and have an “after party”. You can keep the music going and even have a pizza party at midnight if you want to. This is YOUR NIGHT and we want to make it as memorable as possible for you.

The next morning, your guests awaken to a wonderful, hot brunch, prepared specially for your group. It’s the perfect time for farewells, warm wishes, hugs, and goodbyes. Everyone leaves with rich, endearing memories that last for a lifetime.
